Choose which existing exchange column corresponds to each documented Koinly Simple, Trades or Universal field. The browser creates a candidate CSV with the exact Koinly header spelling, without deleting or merging source rows, calculating missing prices, changing existing cell values or uploading financial records.
This solves a narrow format problem, not a crypto tax filing or a Koinly import guarantee. If your exchange is already supported by Koinly, the vendor recommends its native integration instead of modifying the supported export.
Download and retain your exact original export separately. Confirm its clock is already UTC; do not check the UTC box if the file uses local exchange time. The program rejects values it cannot safely map, rather than silently guessing or modifying them.
Exact official fields: Universal uses Date, Sent Amount/Sent Currency and Received Amount/Received Currency. Simple and Trades use Koinly Date. Mapping two original columns to the same destination data, or inventing missing trade fields, is prohibited.

Unmapped input columns remain as clearly named Source: fields; Koinly may ignore extra columns. Text resembling spreadsheet formulas blocks export instead of being executed or quietly modified.
No automatic UTC conversion, trade side, Total, acquisition price, token identity, cost basis, wallet link or tax treatment. Missing or malformed evidence blocks the entire generated candidate CSV; use vendor docs and a qualified adviser where needed.
Koinly's separate importer can combine fills sharing Order ID. This mapper itself never merges or deletes rows. Verify the real imported row/event count independently before considering any result accurate.
When downloaded, this candidate CSV still contains your sensitive original data. Import it yourself and verify every source row and amount. The mapper does not connect to Koinly, obtain tax advice, confirm balances or guarantee an error-free import.

Interoperability note: our separately developed VM3 preflight currently accepts at most 36 columns and 18 fractional decimal places, stricter than this mapper's 40 columns and 24 decimal places. It also has narrower asset-symbol and pair limits. For records outside those limits, our local preview displays an advisory instead of rounding numbers, discarding source columns or claiming a Koinly vendor error. A VM3 structural pass still cannot prove Koinly import acceptance.
